3 Steps to find your passion in life.

Passion- A strong feeling of enthusiasm or excitement for something.

Do you have enthusiasm for your life?  Passion is what makes our life's worth living.  It is what everyone looks for in life.  Some people call it  their purpose for living.  So many look for many years to find their passion, or purpose in life.

What if I told you it isn't that hard to find?  You are more then likely laugh right now.  Saying, "Yeah right.  If it is easy to find.  Why haven't I found mine yet?"

Believe it or not.  All you need to do is get out of your own way to find it.  Threw out our lives we are told, "You would make a great Lawyer,  Of day care person.  Or you would be good in a nursing job, or auto repair.  This is all good and well.  But in most cases it clutters our mind with what everyone around us wants us to do.  Of curse we think about these things.  And maybe even try out a few.  That is a good thing.  We are learning new skills.  Most of the time we get so busy working towards what everyone else thinks we should be doing in our life.  That we don't stop to listen what our heart really wants.  We end up working a job that doesn't bring us joy.  Because we all need to make money to live.

Here is a few steps to take to help you find your passion.

1.  Think about when you were in high school.  What did you want to do?
Remind your self of the things that were important to you then.  Why go back to that point in your life to find your passions?  That is the point in our lives we felt we had the world at our feet.  That there wasn't anything we couldn't do.  It is also the point in our lives before living our life's got in the way.  And most of us were forced to settle for what we could do right then.  Because dreams don't pay the bills.

2.  What are some of the things you enjoyed doing with your free time?  Before you became busy building your life.
Did you enjoy drawing, singing, or making things for your friends?  When you hung out with your friends, what things did you do?  Reconnecting with that person will help you find your passion.  Yes, I know there is a lot of things I thought about then, that wouldn't be such a great idea today.  But the point is to remember what you enjoyed then.  Before life got in the way.

3.  What do you do when life gets stressful?  What are some things that calm you?
Do you want to read a book?  Do you want to take a drive with the music turned up?  The things that calm you down when life gets stressful.  Is something you are passionate about.  Because those things bring you peace.

After answering these 3 questions, you should be able to see a thyme of where your passions are.  Weather it be in helping people, or making things with your hands, or fixing a car.  Or gardening, or writing. Develop these thymes.  Spend more time doing them, learning more about them.

Of curse there will be some of you that do not see a thyme with your answers.  Do not fear, you can still find your passion in life.  In this case, it means you are passionate about many different things.  This is a good thing.  You will just need to look a little deeper into them.  To find witch things bring you the most joy in your life.

We only get one life to live.  We will enjoy it much more when we find the passion in our lives.  We are all guilty of getting cranky in our day to day lives.  Wouldn't it be nice to have less cranky days?  Finding and living your passion can do that for you.

In closing, My wish for you is live a passion filled life, that brings you joy everyday.  I know you will find it.  As long as you are willing to look for it.
